The booking rules
Shops hold real time for you, so we ask the same respect back. Simple, and fair for everyone.
- 1Sign in and add your car to bookYour name, a phone we can reach you on and your car (year, make and model), so the shop knows exactly who is coming and with what.
- 2Reply YES to your reminderWe text you 2 hours before your confirmed time. Reply YES so the shop keeps the bay for you.
- 3Change or cancel at least 4 hours beforePlans change - just tell the shop early. Use My Bookings at least 4 hours before your confirmed time so the shop can give the time to someone else. A cancel later than that counts like a no-show.
- 4No-shows and late cancels pause your accountShops keep real time for you. 3 missed or late-cancelled bookings in 6 months pause your MapleDriven account.
- 5Shop not ready for you? Wait 10 minutesIf the shop still cannot take you after 10 minutes, tell us in the questions after your visit. A shop that does this again and again is taken off MapleDriven.
- 6Answer a few quick questions after each visitBefore your next booking we ask how your last visit went (about 1 minute). It keeps MapleDriven improving on both sides and free for car owners. Once you answer, your next booking unlocks straight away.
- 7Up to 2 bookings a dayYou can book up to 2 times a day and send up to 5 requests a day, so shops get real customers, not test bookings.
- 8Pay the shop directlyMapleDriven never charges you. Agree the price with the shop before any work starts, and pay the shop when it is done.
- 9No booking button on a shop page?That shop has not opened online booking on MapleDriven yet. You can still call the number on its page and ask about its services.

Book a slot or request a time
Shops marked Instant booking show open times and confirm the selected time. Other shops receive a request that stays unconfirmed until they accept it.
Get confirmation, then drop off
Follow the status shown in your account and messages. Drop the car off only after the time is confirmed, and pay the shop directly for its work.
